THE COMPETITION

VINFAST GLOBAL SHOWROOM DESIGN COMPETITION 2021 (VFDC 2021)

A design competition to search for the most excellent showroom design idea that will be used globally, to showcase VinFast smart car models in international markets.
Offering an appealing prize scheme with a total value of up to USD 60,000, it provides all architects and designers across the world a lifetime opportunity to showcase their talents to the global stage

It is co-organized by Vietnam Design Association (VDAS), Asia Pacific Design Center (APDC) and Competitions Archi and sponsored exclusively by VinFast, the first ever Vietnamese smart automotive brand.

To accompany VDAS and VinFast on the journey searching for brilliant design talents to showcase to the world, VFDC 2021 has received supports from numerous distinguished partners in Interior Design and Architecture industry such YAC, Archdaily, etc.

Deadline for submission is midnight, 25th Feb, GMT+7:00 timezone.

THE PRIZES

01 FIRST PRIZE

40.000 $
USD 30,000 in cash and a competition certificate from the organizers + USD 10,000 worth design contract (*)
(*) Upon being awarded as the 1st prize and submitting the original working file, she/he is automatically entitled to USD 30,000 prize, and an additional working contract of USD 10,000 (if she/he volunteers) to develop and deliver the detailed technical design files for the whole showroom space within 10 days.

03 RUNNERS UP

3000 $
USD 3,000 in cash and a competition certificate from the organizers and a chance to work on next projects with VinFast

05 THIRD PRIZES

1000 $
USD 1,000 in cash and a competition certificate from the organizers

41 CONSOLATION PRIZE

200 $
USD 200 in cash and a competition certificate from the organizers

HONORABLE SHOWCASE

All the 9 awarded proposals will be showcased on billboards at Times Square, New York City, USA


Note: For the top 50 selected ideas, The organizer will contact the winners to submit the original working files before the prizes are transferred.
